A platform provider that built its position on fast launches and early support for cryptocurrency payments.
SOFTSWISS supplies the platform behind a large number of online casino brands, with a product set covering the casino system, a game aggregator, a sportsbook, an affiliate management system and a jackpot aggregator that lets an operator run a pooled jackpot across games from different studios.
Its early commercial advantage was cryptocurrency. Accepting and paying out in digital assets was unattractive to established platform providers for compliance reasons, and SOFTSWISS built support for it when few alternatives existed, which shaped the profile of the operators it serves.
The company is a good illustration of the turnkey end of the market, where an operator can launch a brand in weeks on someone else's technology and licence rather than building and certifying a platform of its own, with the trade-off that the operator controls less of its own product and economics.
The systems layer: player account management, wallets, bonusing, reporting, compliance tooling, and the single integration that gives an operator access to thousands of games from hundreds of studios.
